ALDABRA GIANT TORTOISE- A LEAP INTO ORGANIC SCULPTING

STRUGGLE FOR REALISM                     Organic Sculpting:

In 2022, I had the curiosity to try something new, and this fire for details and realism lead me to creating this Aldabra Giant Tortoise.

I’ve spent a long time working on this piece, pushing my skills to the limit to capture as much detail as possible. My goal was to challenge myself in organic modeling, and this project has been both rewarding and fun.

I used ZBrush for sculpting and texturing, allowing me to refine intricate details like the tortoise’s rough skin and rugged shell. Rendering in Blender brought everything to life with realistic lighting and depth, while compositing in Photoshop helped fine-tune the final look. Every wrinkle, scale, and texture was carefully crafted to make the tortoise feel as lifelike as possible.
