ALDABRA GIANT TORTOISE- A LEAP INTO ORGANIC SCULPTING

Image
STRUGGLE FOR REALISM                     Organic Sculpting: © 2022 , Aniket S Bharati In 2022, I had the curiosity to try something new, and this fire for details and realism lead me to creating this Aldabra Giant Tortoise.  I’ve spent a long time working on this piece, pushing my skills to the limit to capture as much detail as possible. My goal was to challenge myself in organic modeling, and this project has been both rewarding and fun. I used ZBrush for sculpting and texturing, allowing me to refine intricate details like the tortoise’s rough skin and rugged shell. Rendering in Blender brought everything to life with realistic lighting and depth, while compositing in Photoshop helped fine-tune the final look. Every wrinkle, scale, and texture was carefully crafted to make the tortoise feel as lifelike as possible. © 2022 , Aniket S Bharati Art he Overall Workflow consisted of- Zbrush- Sculpting, Detailing, and Polypaint...

PORTFOLIO PROJECT - DESERT HOWLER (BTS)

Image
DESERT HOWLER BEHIND THE SCENES: © 2022 , Aniket S Bharati Art This is one of my Main portfolio projects- The Night Howler, I did after my initial exploration in 2021. For this project I used ZBrush, Blender, and Photoshop to bring this unique alien creature to life. I started by sculpting the creature in ZBrush, focusing on its anatomy and using the software’s sculpting tools to define its menacing features. Once the model was complete, I moved to Blender for rendering,  where I experimented with lighting and textures to set the creature in a dark, nocturnal environment, perfect for its desert hunting grounds. © 2022 , Aniket S Bharati Art Finally, I composited the image in Photoshop, refining the colors, contrast, and overall composition to emphasize the creature's details and enhance the eerie atmosphere. The entire process took about six hours spread over a few days, with each stage sculpting, rendering, and compositing adding depth and realism to the final artwork. I'm ...

BUST NO.2 THE LOST SPECIES (FROM CONCEPT TO MODEL)

Image
THE LOST SPECIES BEHING THE SCENES: © 2021 , Aniket S Bharati Art This piece, The Lost Species , was a long and detailed personal project inspired by Avatar . I wanted to explore a unique alien design that felt both humanoid and otherworldly, blending realistic anatomy with an eerie, unfamiliar texture. The goal was to create a being that looked like it belonged to a lost civilization ancient, wise, yet slightly unsettling. This Project was made in 2021- The workflow for this project started in ZBrush , where I sculpted and textured every intricate detail, from the subtle wrinkles to the rough skin pores.   I brought it into Blender for rendering, experimenting with lighting that would highlight the textures and give it a cinematic feel. The warm sunset glow contrasting with the cool tones of the skin adds depth to the character.  Finally, I polished the render in Photoshop , enhancing the colors and refining the final composition. © 2021 , Aniket S Bharati Art Th...

MUSHROOM MONSTER ZBRUSH TO BLENDER WORKFLOW

Image
MUSHROOM CREATURE PROCESS: © 2021 , Aniket S Bharati Art Back in 2021, I took on the Sculptober Mushroom Monster challenge by Artistsay on Instagram, and this eerie, otherworldly creature was my submission. I wanted to create something that felt both organic and unsettling something that looked like it had evolved in the depths of an alien fungal forest.  My workflow for this piece started in ZBrush , where I sculpted every detail, from the stretched skin to the ridged mushroom-like cap. I focused on making the anatomy feel distorted yet plausible, like a fusion of humanoid and fungal growths. Once the sculpt was done, I moved the project into Blender Cycles 9.2 for rendering, ensuring the lighting and materials captured the eerie glow I envisioned. Finally, I brought the render into Photoshop for post-processing, tweaking colors, enhancing the glow, and refining the overall composition. © 2021 , Aniket S Bharati Art The Overall Workflow consisted of- Zbrush- Sculpting, De...

VAMPIRE TROLL (Realtime Bust) Process

Image
REAL TIME BUST FOR A VAMPIRE TROLL: © 2020 , Aniket S Bharati Art Made using Zbrush, Blender, and Photoshop , this is my Vampire Troll creature concept. It was 2020, and I was trying to still learn the process of modelling to create game/film creatures, and during my learning curve I found myself to like the Zbrush to Blender workflow, not only because other softwares were expensive,  but also because I get to test my characters in Realtime using Eevee, The new Blender Engine at that time for faster rendering.  Although not comparable to the Unreal Engine. Eevee provides just enough power to visualize your final renders. In Addition to this creature bust being my first Zbrush to Blender Project, it was the start of my professional workflow, after this project I utilized this process for every character I have made, making it simpler for me to visualize and create characters with precision. © 2020 , Aniket S Bharati Art The Overall Workflow consisted of- Zbrush- Sculpting...
